"Chose to go with Jorge's shoe repair when friends told us they had a bad experience with another place in the area. We found Jorge at his new larger location and dropped off two pairs of shoes which included a bit of a complicated soft sole moccasin repair. I called a few days after his initial estimate to check in on my shoe and he let me know he ran into an issue with a machine that broke which was required for the stitches on the bottom. Within a week the moc was finished along with my other more simple sole repair on my hiking shoes. All in all it was $60 for two pairs of shoes and I considered the mocs to be a bit more of a pain to fix because he had to remove the old sole and do some heavy stitching but they turned out great. I found calling ahead and checking in with Jorge via phone before showing up worked just fine for me and I found him to be very responsive and professional."
