AIA Tennessee, the American Institute of Architects Tennessee Chapter, is located at 1105 Gartland Avenue in Nashville, Tennessee. Our mission is to positively impact our world through the power of design. As the voice of the architectural profession in Tennessee, we are dedicated to serving society and shaping the professional environment in the state.
At AIA Tennessee, we strive to enrich our membership by providing high-quality continuing education, increasing diversity among our members, and offering career and leadership development support statewide. We also advocate for the profession by engaging on state issues concerning architects and the built environment with the TN General Assembly, regulatory bodies, and public officials.
Our goal is to engage the public by promoting design excellence and raising awareness of the role of architects in our communities. With over 1,600 members, AIA Tennessee responds to the needs of our diverse community through new programs, services, and people. We believe that our strength comes from the active involvement of our members, whether they work in small, mid-sized, or large offices, in universities, government, or industry.
