"01/26/2024 @ 3:41pm, been sitting here since 11:30am and watched other drivers get their load who have come in long after me…these crane drivers are getting paid off by the drivers. You can’t tell me otherwise. All these railyards in the Memphis area are a racket. If you don’t have money to paid the crane drivers off, bring your breakfast, lunch, dinner, some snacks, and a toilet because you will be a while waiting. Changing shifts? Something needs to be done…why does it take these rail yards well over 2hrs to change shifts? When somebody comes down out the crane, somebody needs to go up. Management at these rail yards are garbage that have this process."
"Christmas eve I called the office and The individual who chose to work told me “ the reason ain’t nobody has gotten to you is some of us have families, most of us are with their families, except you.” And than asked/ told me this is going to be your last trip here today and than went on to ask/ tell me you aren’t working tomorrow correct” and than asked again are you coming back again tonight.."
"This place is awful the machine Operators will skip over you and then load trucks that come after you been sitting for hours and the guy in the pick up trucj knows Nothing ...like dealing with lil kids ....Sucks bad atfitudes"
"The new app is okay but the crane operators need to be trained better or they need better equipment. Just to put my box on it took nearly 40 minutes just to put the box on and I was the only one in line"
"It's fairly easy to get checked in, but this place has been in shambles ever since they combined the Rossville yard with the Memphis yard. You have to walk between stacked containers to locate your specific box. Then wait for the crane driver to get to you so you can tell him where your container is. The other rails with overhead cranes don't put drivers through this unsafe task. Not to mention if you have to go to Driver's Assist for any reason, they will leave you at the kiosk waiting for who knows how long before they say anything. Not even a hold on, be with you in a few."
