"I have attached photos of how my TV stand arrived after being delivered by this company. It looks like someone kicked a hole in the back of my TV stand and yet it was still delivered. So, I arranged for a pick up because the company Houzz uses ABF for their delivery services. ABF failed to pick up my stand not one, not two, but FOUR times! And each time I called to "set an appointment" for pick -up I explain that I live in a apartment complex; it can't just sit out there all day. The day before ABF actually comes to get the stand they call and the rep asks me, "what time do you want us to pick up your item?" I requested mornings and I was told, " we can't do mornings because we have other deliveries." .... Then why the heck did you make it seem like I had a choice in the matter? Fast forward, ABF finally comes but the stand is not in the box. I didn't put it in the box because I was told it didn't have to be because the pick-up person will take care of it. I explained I still have the box and the rep stated that I should put the box and the protective fillings outside with the tv stand. Great, so the person comes to get it and he states that the stand has to be in the box before he can pick it up and he proceeds to dump all of the protective cardboard etc on the ground, struggles to get the tv stand in the box and tells me that the trash is mine. Ummm, excuse me?! then he acts like he is doing me a favor by HELPING me pick everything he dumped on the ground. Like what the heck?! Then he repeats over and over again, "I apologize for any inconvenience I MAY have caused you." While picking up the items dumped on the ground the pick up person asks me if I have any paperwork for this service. WTH! No, because (I forgot to mention this earlier) in the Houzz system it showed the pick up as completed even though it was not. So, of course I don't have any paperwork nor did any of the 3 reps I spoke with, on my multiple missed appointments, mention I needed to provide paperwork for this TV stand to get picked up. So, the ABF pick up guy calls his dispatch office and a rep tells him that I've already been talking to another rep at their main facility and now, all of a sudden, I don't need the "required" paperwork. don't need to provide any because they will have it when he returns back to the main facility. Are you kidding me? Ah, so now the "required" paperwork needed for the pick up has appeared now. The pick up guy leaves and I am on the phone with the manager. I explain everything and of course he says he will "research it" etc etc. I know there's nothing the manager can do at this point but I wanted him to know the terrible communication and lack follow-through. Please be aware, if you have a choice- I would not recommend this company. On 8.17.20 I received a call asking if ABF could come by to pick up a cabinet. Yet I purchased a tv stand and its already been picked up...finally. Again, TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION ON EVERY LEVEL POSSIBLE."
