Institute of Laboratory Animal

The Institute for Laboratory Animal Management (ILAM) is a specialized educational program located at 9190 Crestwyn Hills Drive in Memphis, Tennessee, United States. Developed by the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS), ILAM aims to provide training in management concepts relevant to the laboratory animal science industry. Established in 1992, ILAM has since graduated numerous professionals who have successfully completed the two-year program. Upon completion, students receive a certificate acknowledging their achievement. AALAS, the governing body behind ILAM, is dedicated to promoting responsible laboratory animal care and use for the benefit of both humans and animals.
