"Booked a load with Shane Smith GA-MI. Had an issue at pickup, and was not able to reach Shane all day. I called the number on the rate confirmation and reached broker Doug to help us get loaded at a shipper we were stuck at. We were stuck at the shipper a little over 4hrs. When I called Doug to let him know we would need detention after we delivered, he instantly denied our request without trying to reach the customer, and started accusing us of trying to extort him of extra pay. Our carrier contract states our terms for detention. Stay cautious booking loads with this broker, as your linehaul rate will be the FINAL rate. Any detention or layovers will be coming out of your own pocket."

"Extremely rude broker with carriers. Called on a load and asked if thats was the best rate and was immediately hanged up on. Glad we are NOT doing business with this brokerage company."

"Called on a posted load, the broker was extremely rude and didn't want to provide information about it, told me that he was too busy and that he will pass, even though he never asked for MC# and even though he was told where the load is picking up and delivering and for what kind of trailer it was. I was interested in booking the load, but we were never given a chance, because "he's not like other brokers and he has all kind of loads and has no time". This is not how carriers should be treated. AVOID!"

"Booked a load with shane, driver did not get loaded for 7 hours, finally i call after hours and douglas the most rude and unprofessional broker answered. Giving me an attitude right away. Saying that some kid called him and canceled the load? Saying it was someone from our office that called, which was a complete lie. No one called tomlin until the driver notified us 7 hours later that he did not start getting loaded. Please do not work with doug. Worst broker ive ever dealt with. Definitely will not be working with tomlin on future freight"
