"If you are honest and hard-working, Dark Horse Express will be a great home for your career! The trucks running ELD average 3100-3400 miles per week, every week. Running newer equipment is one of the perks, along with tons of drop/hook. Now, If you are a big talker that can't handle turning miles, this isnt the place for you. If you quit under dispatch, and damages the truck, yes they will charge you back for that. They do report to HireRight (DAC) and Ten Street, so leave with at least a weeks notice and you'll be just fine. All in all, Dark Horse Express is definitely a great place for me!"

"They will make up lies about you when you quit so they can keep your escrow money and if you try to contact them they will threaten you with a lawyer and say they have pictures and videos of you damaging the truck"

"Husband put in his notice after reaching his limit with one of the owners daily temper tantrums. At the end of the notice he was talked into staying on, so he did. Fast-forward a few months later he gives his final notice as things are not working out and he wants to move on. Not only did they keep both his escrow and maintenance money but they kept not one but 2 of his last checks. When asked about it was told he owed them money. How? Couldn't tell you, still waiting on the paperwork detailing how he owes them money, probably still making up stuff to add up to wheat they owe him. No response to text or emails. This company is a joke and the owners are even worse! Screwing drivers over must be how they are still in business"
