"worse school ever ! expecially secret city academy .. aka alt school . rudest teachers ever stays messing with me and my friends smh ! never liked it here -makailah foster"
"When i attended it was an alright school except for the fact they give detention for absolutely anything. I tried calling the school three different times to get my ACT scores transferred to my college so i can finish enrollment but it seems as if nobody knows how o pick up a phone."
"It's not as bad as some make it out to be. Sure, I used to not have to worry about what I wore to school and now I do... but this school provides many more activities than most schools do. There's a club for literally EVERYTHING. And on to the huge debacle of badges, they do suck... but they're just trying to keep us safe. Overall, I went from hating school in middle school to hating it less and less because all the people I hated in middle school got problems of their own now and I don't have to see their faces because the school is "so fricken big" as my HVA acquaintances call it."
"At first glance, oak ridge high school seems to possess all the negative attributes that plague our public education system. But there is one bright spot in this heart of darkness, the blissfully secluded bathroom in the biology wing. This bathroom has everything a student could want or need, automatic lights, a faucet with just the right amount of water pressure, and a clean smell that is able to overpower the stench of public education. There's no question about why this bathroom overshadows every other part of the school by far. 10/10 would visit again."
"I moved back to Oak Ridge years ago for the school system. It may be the single best thing I did as a parent. The opportunities available to the students are unparalleled in public education in this area."
