FLYING HIGH AGAIN

"I cannot say enough about my experience at this place, but I'll do my best. First off, if you are considering flight training in the Nashville area, this is the place to go! Everyday I walked in to the pilots lounge, I got a big fat smile on my face, there was always a great atmosphere and just a great group of folks to learn from. Shout out to Sean and Juan for taking excellent care of the airplanes, shout out to Aysha for a great ground school, and biggest shout out to my instructor Matt Crosby! I have had a great experience learning from Matt and getting my PPL. Now, I'm just looking forward to the next step. Highly recommended for you pilots-to-be!!!!"

"I had been wanting to get my pilots license for the last 16+ years and one night on a whim, I filled out the information request form on their website. By 9am the next morning I received a call from the owner Sean. From the very first minute we started talking I felt at home with the school. Sean spent a few minutes explaining the safety procedures and maintenance they performed on their fleet, and a rundown of what a normal syllabus and training structure looked like.. I was sold. Jump to 5 months later I am a licensed Private Pilot and headed into IFR training. Throughout the course of my training I was paired with Matt Crosby, CFII. Matt brought an incredible amount of professionalism and was thoroughly understanding of my needs and demanding work schedule. Matt made the time, and went above and beyond to ensure I stayed on track through all my goals and objectives. A better instructor cannot be found! If you are looking for a flight school I could not recommend FHA more. They strive to make sure you succeed, and the effort shows in the form of safe and qualified pilots. "I am about to finish the inaugural accelerated ground school this week and couldn’t be happier with tackling this task with Flying High Again. Everyone is caring, knowledgable and truly care about your training. Aysha is awesome and knows how to teach and not just prepare you for a test. Nick challenges me every session in the classroom and especially in the air. All the planes are maintained extensively by Juan, the mechanic and it is awesome to be able and invited to ask any of them any question at any time. Sean and John couldn’t be nicer owners and easy to deal with. I have no doubt that I will come out of Flying High with a tremendous knowledge of how to fly and also a bunch of new lifelong friends. "I have always intended to learn to fly. At 50; my family gave me a discovery flight (B-day present) with flying High Again and a week later I began my training. I am currently in my 3rd week, with about 10 lessons. The team there is professional and committed to getting you on track with your training. Sean Amos assisted me in getting a good private pilot training kit and has provided me a really good trainer (Ian - who is very proficient in his flying skills and 1 of at least 3 trainer teachers currently on staff). Sean also stays on top of the maintenance schedules of the 3 trainer planes. They are committed to safety and are also very conscientious of hard-earned money going towards this training - in other words where certain training references can be obtained or certain 'paths' of training may be more efficient than others; they'll give you some sound advice on options to consider. I cannot think of a better way to gain confidence in life, than learning to fly a plane and this school is a good source for the training. Parents of teenagers... Consider getting your 'young adult' in this training and let that flight training teach them to 'fly the plane' --- in other words this training will teach them to be 'pro-active' instead of re-active' in all types of life situations. Incidentally, that discovery flight was the first time I had been in a Cessna, and flown out of Smyrna Airport (KMQY) since February of 1990."
