"My daughter was absolutely terrified of swim lessons after a bad experience at another swim school. I took a chance on taking her to Gareth. I am thankful that we did. Within a few days my daughter(she was 3) was jumping off the side of the pool, attempting to swim on her own and just enjoying the water-something she had not been able to before. When we arrived at the swim school, Gareth immediately recognized that my daughter struggled with her fear of water/lessons. He took it upon himself to work with her. He honestly had to undone the “damage”(for lack of a better word) of her previous swim lesson experience and retrain her to enjoy the water just so he could attempt to actually teach her how to swim. I can not thank Gareth and the other swim teachers enough. I highly recommend this swim program."

"Do not understand why this school has such highly rated reviews. First 30 minutes of first day was the instructor talking about how great he is, and not actually teaching the kids to swim. We were in the younger class and it was a cry fest. All the kids were screaming and crying, my kid has not been afraid of the water, but after these lessons he was. They talk very rudely to the kids, at one point my kid was crying and the instructor told him “hush up I’m trying to have a conversation” as she was talking to another instructor about something not related to the class. They continually yelled at the kids and said things like “you’re fine” instead of encouraging them. They claimed the kids would all be able to float on their own by the end of week one, out of a full class if 12 or so I only saw a couple of kids who were able to actually do that. Waste of money, do not recommend. Look into ms sues or swim lessons at MTSU with Andy."

"Mr Sweetman is a bad mutha... you know the rest. My kiddo is on the spectrum and had taken classes everywhere but never learned to swim. Within a week he was confident and swimming like a fish. You might not like him or his tactics, but it works. We'll keep on coming for maintenance and stroke lessons. He loves it!"

"I have been so impressed with the lessons. The instructors really take the time to teach each child. They have great expectations for the students. Some children have extreme fears of the water, but the worked with each student and their primary goal is to make sure they learn to their best potential. Each child has the opportunity to progress at their own level…even within the levels classes"
