Reviews of West Wilson Middle School
"West Wilson is a good school, Its average I mean, but most of the teachers are amazing, some not so much. The Kids are mean and fake and act like they're ballers but, they're really not, and the kids who are nice end up being crazy or insecure. The Lunch is fine no problem with that, I feel like most teachers don't care if you speak up about bullying, The Principals are nice and understanding and so are the guidance counselors."
"Sorry excuse for a school who cares about students. More worried about a shot record That I just need time to get than letting my daughter start school when she has been put for 3 weeks and only two of those weeks were from us moving all the way from California"
"Honestly, compared to my present middle school, WWMS is not comparable, and that's coming from a public school. Haha, the students however, are fairly nice if you hang with the right people, the teachers are also fairly attentive however, progress is slow compared to my school yet again. Well done, all around."
"Written by a former student: this summer I had to move from Michigan to my Juliet hope West Wilson would be a awesome school. I read all the reviews expecting atleast something to help new kids. There was not. The first day I walked in I asked someone where to go and they just told me the gym. Of course I didn't know where that was, next my schedule was wrong and they told me to go to the guidance room yet again I had no idea where it was. Had to find my way around this giant school hoping I wouldn't be late for my first class. Finally I find it and there's 20 kids waiting. I sat there and met with the 8th grade guidance counselor who was absolutely wonderful. I finally found my himeroom which looked like a trash heap with a substitute teacher. Not even the real one. Already I knew I was in a horrible mess. My language arts teacher Mrs. Reynolds is amazing and so helpful. My choir teacher wasn't and my class was really weird and I hated going. My drama teacher Mr. Moses was one of my favorite teachers and was really funny and nice. My science teacher mrs. Sloan was great too. I had math next with Mrs. Wardlow and she was nice too but I had lunch next. I hated it more than anything and no one even said hello to me. I just sat with anyone who was open and never spoke a word and no one said a word to me. VERY unwelcoming students and faculty. I had social studies as my last class and that was another one of my absolute least favorite classes. I was so bored and hated every second of it. Over the next two weeks I would come home crying everyday and missed most of my days there because I was too scared to go back. I'm not saying it's a horrible school, I'm saying Mt. Juliet is growing so fast and they can't handle it and expect us to learn this absolutely giant school on our own. So disappointing"
"Have worked with the staff in two different aspects over the years, and it is apparent they really care for their students. Great school."
