"I emailed Mr. Loftis about writing a letter for me to have an emotional support animal. He did not respond to that email (Monday) and then when asked during our session (Wednesday), he stated that it was unethical for him to write the letter and gave me a million reasons why he could not. I explained to him why my pup has been beneficial to my anxiety, my trauma and other mental issues I had been having. He gave me little direction and I was left after that session disappointed and aggravated. After research, I was told that it was left up to my therapist's discretion to write the letter. That is his prerogative, but to bypass the need of his patient with a disability (anxiety) and refuse is ridiculous. So, if you need an emotional support animal he is NOT the therapist you need to see."
