"I will start by saying I have been very happy with the products I HAVE received from JL. Were I writing a review based solely on the products, I would likely give them 5 stars. However, I placed an order 3 months ago. My order was part of a team order. Half of the items I ordered were customs items, the other half were off the shelf. Team members all ordered separately and we all paid separately; however, all items were to be delivered to the boathouse (9.6 miles away from JL Racing). There are more than 100 kids rowing on the youth teams from our boathouse. I was charged more than $58 for shipping for my part of the order. Assuming I had a larger order than some, $5000 seems absurd for shipping, regardless of distance. To top it off, 3 months later, my order is still incomplete. An email to the company said the rest of my order was expected to ship this week. While I had originally planned to buy some extra pieces for Christmas, this experience has left me searching for other options."
