"As someone who has a fear of going to the dentist office for a number of reasons, I’m happy to report that this experience was actually pretty awesome. Erika and Dr Mark were very kind, compassionate, and professional, and helped me remain comfortable and at ease during my entire visit. "For the last week my tooth had been hurting me, and I had been unable to get an appointment with my usual dentist due to their schedule. Last night the pain intensified to the point where I could not sleep even after taking the pain killer dilauded. This morning I once again called my usual dentist office and asked them to see me for this emergency (10 out of 10 pain scale) and unable to eat. My DDS office still could not make time for me until next week. I called Mark’s office at 8:05am this morning and immediately after telling the receptionist that I was in pain her words were “come here now”. Mind you, I have never ever been a patient of Mark’s or knew anything about him or his practice. I walked through the front door, they sat me down as soon as the chair was cleaned and ready, the staff took an x-ray, and mark immediately diagnosed me. He called a third party root canal specialist to see if they could perform a emergency root canal and they could not this morning. Mark was able to perform the procedure then and there in his office. He removed the old root canal, found that the specialist that had previously preformed the work of the root canal missed one of the roots in my tooth and placed a stainless steel stud that was not deep enough (the reason the tooth always bugged me a bit). He also cleared an abscess at the tip of the root that relieved/ drained a ton of infection fluid and reduced the pain immensely. I was a walk in patient that he and his staff devoted over two hours of time to until the problem was corrected. Top notch work from a true professional in this industry. I am transferring all my dental needs to his practice now. Thank you!"

"I was told by a friend who taught dentistry at sf that Mark Ashiku was the most capable dentist that he had ever known. He was correct, and what makes it nice is that Mark explains very clearly what needs to be done and why, and then gives options. The quality of work he did on me was fantastic. He also has a great staff."

"Dr. Mark Ashiku went above and beyond to help me with my dental issues, compounded by shoddy work by my previous dentist, whose work all had to be redone including root canals- who misses an entire root? Dr. Ashiku is easily the most skilled dentist I've had the pleasure of working with, all his repairs have been seamless and its pretty difficult to tell what tooth has been worked on after he is done due to the quality of the work done. They are not the cheapest in town, but like most things in life you certainly get what you paid for. If you're looking for honest, quality work come here you won't be disappointed. Tell him you saw this review and he'll probably tell you jokes at my expense the entire time, which is perfectly fine by me. The staff at his office are top notch btw."

"Dr Mark Ashiku & his assistant Erica are by far above supreme standards in how they treat you! They are amazing! I am deathly afraid of dentists & they not only calm you down, they make you laugh & it doesn't even hurt! Not only this but he does the BEST dentistry EVER! He goes beyond what you need & treats you like family & fixes problems from old dentists as well as makes the new procedure perfect & beautiful! I trust them 100%!
