Reviews of Franklin Road Academy
"My daughter transferred to FRA from another Nashville area private school in 4th grade (her first year there being during the height of the pandemic). The staff, leadership, and students have really made her feel like she’s found her home away from home. They also are very willing to accommodate certain learning disabilities such as ADHD and tutoring on-site, which is a wonderful perk. At 8 years old she picked FRA herself because she wanted to go “to a school that helped her learn better and had kind people”… Her test scores doubled in one year (even with the pandemic) and she has been excited to go to school every day since!"
"Our family absolutely loves FRA. We have two children at the school and we have been part of the FRAmily for 4 years now. My children are growing and have made amazing friends. Further, they have learned so much! We love our school!"
"Let's start with the facts: I went to this school for three and a half years and for the first year it was great! However, by the second year I went there began to downfall, exclusions began. Distinct Cliques formed and I refused to confine to the impossible standards. By sixth grade, I was physically punched by a fellow peer and made fun of for being taller than the other girls and all the guys. Seventh grade was by far the worst year of my life. If it wasn't for my Latin teacher, I honestly would not have made it through. Little did anyone know, that there is no forgiveness for any mistake made, especially for an outcast. Now I am out of there and I'm happier than I've ever been. To summarize my experience, don't waste your money unless you're ready for either yourself or your child to be physically and psychologically damaged beyond the possibility of repair."
"Our son attended 6th grade last year at FRA. It was his first year there, and he had an amazing experience! He loved his teachers, and he made excellent friends. He will be attending FRA again this year. He was reading his bible for homework. Our family loves FRA. It is Christ centered, academically challeging, and family oriented."
