"I've been seeing Alicia for EMDR every other week. My experience has been wonderful from the start. Alicia always communicates with me and respects my time, as I do hers. I feel very comfortable and valued. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better therapist and I truly appreciate the amount of healing I've recieved so far."
"My counselor had VERY limited scheduling. I would go over a month at times before I would be able to see her again. We were supposed to do EMDR for PTSD, I saw her from around April/May until August. We had a total of 7 sessions when I told her I wanted to meet weekly. She also has no experience with service animals, I sent her links from the ADA website, explaining how my dog helps me (tasks she does, like Deep pressure therapy, orbit, alerting to panic attacks, etc). She was unwilling to research and learn, since it was “out of her scope”. I feel like if your main illness you work with is PTSD, you should familiarize yourself with service animals. It took her over a month to tell me she refuses to write any medical documentation saying that I benefit from a Service Animal. I explained to her she does not vouch for the animal itself, and the animal does NOT need to go to a “professional institution”, and can be completely owner trained, per the ADA website. I also asked for a referral or recommendation to a therapist that would consider it “in their scope” and was left unanswered. Therapists should be educated on service animals when the illnesses they deal with could benefit from them. If you’re looking for a therapist with shotty scheduling, and don’t want/need a service animal, this place may be for you. She is very nice, but scheduling and knowledge with service animals are key for me. I need consistency."
"I absolutely loveeee my counselor Christie. I really feel like God put her in my life for a reason. So happy to have found this place!"
"worst counseling i’ve got in my life. my counselor Niki was completely unavailable after already seeing her for several weeks, leaving me to my own devices for over a month without warning and after multiple emails stating i was in extreme crisis. when she finally got back to me she said she couldn’t see me over telehealth because i was in a different state and basically told me sorry about your luck without giving me any other resources to turn to. in the actual sessions she was detached and clung onto the one thing she actually paid attention to and attributed all my problems to that despite having problems before that particular issue even occurred. when i had emailed stating i would no longer be seeing them i didn’t even get a response. wish i could give a lower score, don’t ever go to crayton."
