"It's hard to put into words how much support Abby has provided to me over the last four years that I’ve been seeing her for therapy. During that time, she has helped me process a lot of past trauma as well as current life changes and daily struggles including a divorce, a new long-term relationship, relationships with family and friends, etc. I’ve worked with several other therapists before, and she is by far the best. She listens like a friend while challenging me to dig deeper and encouraging me to push myself into a place that has helped me grow into a much more healthy and emotionally resilient person. To say that working with her has changed my life is an understatement. Abby is genuinely kind and passionate about helping her clients. I highly recommend her."
"Abby has been my therapist for almost 4 years now. We have gone through multiple job and life changes as well as the craziness of the last few years. Not only does she do great work - trying different methods, recommending different resources, including family members when appropriate - but she also recommends and collaborates with additional types of therapy or other therapists for specialized issues when necessary. I am a much happier and healthier person because of her!"
"Abby is amazing! I have been a client for many years. From our first session, I felt like I was talking to a friend. Abby is personable and professional and has a true desire to help. She has helped me learn to process trauma, and the grief of my husband’s passing as well as shared the joyful times in my life. I have always felt safe, welcome and heard when speaking with Abby. She has given me tools and tricks to handle stressful situations effectively and successfully. Abby listens intently, asks appropriate questions and has a true interest in her clients as a person, and their happiness. She is a great cheerleader for her clients. Her humor, heart and professionalism made me comfortable enough to recommend Abby to multiple friends and family members facing their own life situations. 5/5 stars- highly recommend."
"I've been seeing Abby for around 5 years now and I have nothing but great experiences with her. She truly has made a huge difference in my life. I've been in therapy off and on for over 20 years, but I've never had a therapist push and challenge me in the ways that she does. It's never too much, but she doesn't go easy on me! My therapy is customized to my needs and my life experience. Even when issues in my life have come up that she's not an expert on, she's taken it on herself to learn more so she can be a better therapist for me. I've been through a lot of life changes since I've been her client, and she's helped me through them all with kindness and grace. Absolutely recommend!!!"
"Just horrible. My fiancé' has been seeing her and he now believes he is a victim of the turn in our relationship. It takes two to tango and we are both at fault for all that has taken place. She clearly does not ask the right questions to dive deeper into things and/or have him tell her his understanding of things so if there needs more explanation to help him see clearly she would never know. A therapist can place judgement or make assumptions based on someone they have never met or had the opportunity to find things out. According to him, she states that everyone should know how to deal with anger even if they have never dealt with a level of anger in their lifetime. We do not know how to raise our children or given situations until we approached with it. This a man who would walk into a bar and pick a fight, to just fight, after his mother passed. A grown man, but he did not know how to express his hurt and pain so that is what he did. He knows now that it was wrong. Here I am having to try and deal with a level of hurt, frustration and anger that I have never experienced in my life but I am supposed to know how already. Needless to say when I was seeing us both behave in extremely hurtful, demeaning, violent, and toxic behaviors and saw it was not going anywhere but worse than it should be and clearly his therapist Abby, tells him how I am wrong but knows not a single thing about me. She is taking money from a man who says he needs help but really just filling his head with what he wants to hear and it seems to work on both counts. Your therapist is someone who tells you what you don't want to hear and should be diving deeper and at the end to ensure you are walking away with not the perception we want from therapy but the one that she is trying to get across. There will always be a different method and I would never pay a therapist to tell me how I am right and the victim. If a man is chest bumping you to instigate and manipulate a situation something is clearly off. And I know I am no Angel."
