Reviews of Warriors Center Bolivar
"This place is a good place for homeless people , or for sex offenders, the reason I say this is because I came here to get help for my fentanyl substance abuse problem i had and I heard you can work here and make money and save up for a year since it’s a year long program but it was not what I expected these people will put you to work for 12 hours and in the cold weather and only pay you 5 dollars a day , yes they pay for where you live and no they do not pay for the 3 meals you eat a day here , they acutally make you sign up for ebt food stamp’s and your acutally paying the food you eat with the ebt food stamps they apply for you , no they do not feed you good , there are days they do but it’s all payed for with the ebt food stamps card you sign up for , and not just that supposedly the best paying job they got there is makeing 75 dollars a week at a pallet wearhouse you work 8 hours and 30 minute’s Monday threw Friday for only 75 dollars and they keep the rest of your money i end up leaveing this place disappointed on my self I told my family I would make money and save up to get a apartament or a car or both and you litterly only work here to buy ciggerte and they call that a privilege yes this place helps you seek god but this place treat you like kids you have freedom here but you must be in bed by 10 pm and you must be out of bed by 4.30 am Monday threw Friday even if your 70 years old even if your a veteran they still treat you like kids you must write chapter of the Bible if you curse by accident or smoke a ciggerte by accident in front of the building where you play basketball , and no it’s not a court it’s a 10 feet long ways and 8 feet side ways parking lot and your only allow to play basketballs after 4pm so you only have a hour to play on the weekdays and this place makes a lot of money and the inside of this place is litterly nasty the kitchen people dose not wash the plates we eat in , they make you wash dishes and mop the entire place the 1st 30 days your in there i try useing soap on every dish I wash and they got mad because supposedly I was takeing to long this men that work in the kitchen has one leg and is a nasty man he cooks our food without washing his hands"
"The Warrior Center provided me with the opportunity to get my life back in order when it was in complete chaos. I graduated, worked there and have seen many lives changed for the better."
"Warriors center provided me with a safe place to get recovery and most importantly find God I was introduced to a way of living I never knew was a possibility the warriors center is absolutely the foundation of all success I’ve had since recovery."
"This place outside of God has changed my life in more ways than I can count gave me more than so many values of life to understand what living in the eyes of the Lord is all about Thank you Lord for placing me in the care of your arms to lead me to the warrior center of bolivar God bless it as well as the founder of it David Vincent"
"After graduating the Warriors Center in Memphis, I had the opportunity to move to Bolivar. The Warriors Center in Bolivar not only strives daily at bringing broken men closer to God, but absolutely achieves this first goal of the program. While putting God at the forefront, which is a necessity, they also provide an excellent work therapy program. Work therapy helps men get back in the habit of going to work, being responsible, among other necessities that are needed to enter back into the mainstream of society."
