"Dr. Kennedy came highly recommended by a reliable source so I decided to give her a try. When I called, the recording stated that sessions would be conducted virtually which was perfect. With the COVID-19 pandemic, this was exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately after several attempts to set up an initial appointment with no response, I have decided to look elsewhere for my counseling needs. I’ve left several messages, even calling at different times during normal business hours to hopefully catch a live person, but never did. After leaving several messages, it is apparent that I’m wasting my time. If she was not accepting new patients, or even closed for business, this should be so stated on the recording. But I trusted my friend’s advice to try one more time because she vouched that Dr. Kennedy was great. But I’ll never know. This is why I’m writing a 1-star review. My friend suggested that the answering service or her staff may not be giving her my messages or keeping her advised of new patient requests, which in itself is unprofessional. For some, this may have felt like rejection so I’m grateful that my life DID NOT depend on receiving a call-back. I hope whoever sees this review can offer some insight. I truly hope that your experience was better than mine."

"Doctor Kennedy wasted my time and energy at a time when I have nothing left to give. I have been having crying spells, freak outs and anger issues. I am at the end of my rope. I am dangerously close to losing everything because of my mental health, and I need help. As anyone reading this likely knows, it is incredibly difficult to go through the process of finding a therapist when you are depressed (i.e., when they are actually needed). I finally made an appointment to try to get help and move forward in life. I left work early (which is not easy), logged on for my video appointment, and waited. After 15 minutes, I got a text message on my phone that just said "Disconnected." I texted back and was told by someone that she was on the line but disconnected because I wasn't there. I don't blame her for technical difficulties, but she did not bother to call or send me a message. She just left me sitting there. The person on the text service told me that I could make another appointment. Unfortunately, even if I was willing to give her a second chance, I am not ready to explain to my boss about my mental health issues. Going to two appointments within a couple of weeks would raise questions that I don't want to answer. I'm just going to go back to white-knuckling my way through life. Hopefully I don't snap before I get the energy and time to get the help I need."

"I love Dr. Kennedy. She seems shy and quiet at first but she’s good at calling me out about my feelings and really focusing on how to fix the root of the problem. Definitely don’t recommend if you have a hard time being called out on your actions."

"She is ok, but if you lose your insurance, good luck. No sliding scale or understanding here! All or nothing and shell refuse to see you, thus you have no therapy. Focused on the $$$ and not the client. Beware of this."
