Reviews of Holbourn Integrated Therapy
"There for work comp claims massage for my foot and leg"
"The absolute best physical therapy office I've ever been to. Dr Holbourn and her staff really care about the patients and their recovery!"
"This is a smaller clinic which comes with its pros and cons. The good: Katrina (who I think is a PTA) and is the main person working with you is really sweet/supportive and does try her best with the resources that she’s given. If you come during less busy times, they do tend to do longer manual therapy (read: longer massages heck yeah!). Also, you get your own private room each visit. This is also a women owned clinic and a small business so it does feel nice to support that as opposed to some the larger PT mills. The not so good: There are only two medical professionals working there - Dr. Holbourn (PT) and Katrina. I feel like that ultimately results in less knowledge sharing compared to clinics that have multiple PTs and PTAs on staff. In my particular case, I came in needing to increase my elbow range of motion but was given strengthening exercises to do at home and in therapy. I would have pointed this out if I had known but I didn’t know this until I stopped going and started googling exercises on my own and got better from those than the ones I was getting from the clinic. Their scheduling is also kind of erratic, which wasn’t a huge deal for me personally because I have a flexible schedule and live close by. But I could see it being an issue for those who have to request time off to go to PT. They were always canceling my appointments last minute or trying to move me up several hours. I also always felt like I could never get a clear answer from the front desk person about billing. They have a really weird pay structure where you’re required to pay a small amount after each visit (at least $50) even if you go through insurance. Then at the end, they bill you for any remaining balances. I asked multiple times how much my entire cost for each visit was and was always told “We won’t know until the insurance bills us but today you owe $$”. I’m pretty sure the clinic always bills the insurance…? I really didn’t mind paying a set amount each time but just found it sketchy that I could never get any clear answers on billing. It took me several visits before I was comfortable leaving my card on file for them to auto-charge. Lastly, I think overall I just felt that since they are a small clinic, they are more focused on growing their client base and keeping their current clients coming back so a lot of my interactions with Dr. Holbourn or Grace (front desk) felt like they were trying to “sell” me into continuing to come back. This is the last thing you want to be navigating if you are already suffering from an injury. Overall, I think there are better clinics in midtown and would suggest trying out other places if you also feel weird after going to this one."
"I went on vacation and thought I had broken my foot. Went to several doctors, they took xrays and still could not find a break or what was causing my pain. I had severe pain for about a year before I went to see Dr. Holbourn. WOW, WOW, WOW. She diagnosed what was wrong with my foot in about 2 minutes after feeling my foot. I had a bone out of joint or socket. I cried when I left her office the first time. I could not believe she found out what was causing all my pain. After about 6 months of therapy, I had no more pain in my foot. She will ALWAYS have my business if I ever need any type of PT again."
"Greeting, this the best facilities to reach your physical therapy goal. I have much love for Dr. Jennifer Holbourn and her entire staff. Ms. Kim at the front desk great reminder for your appointments. Ms. Jasmine and Ms. Courtney ( assistant physical therapist). Pleasant facilities and much positive energy when come in. Peace Be Unto You"
