Reviews of Holy Rosary Academy
"I have been a member of the Holy Rosary community all my life—and in many capacities. I love this school, and it has loved—and continues to love—my children well."
""Beautiful" could not even begin to summarize what this place once felt like. In a world of uncertainty, HRA was always a bastion of hope. It was a place filled with teachers, clergy, and educators dedicated to upholding the Holy Spirit in every action they took. It felt safe. It felt like a second home for our children. All that changed, however, when the new priest was given the proverbial keys to the kingdom, including the hiring of the current principal. A quick google search of "Kimber Haliburton court cases" should be a good starter pack for anyone considering placing their children in this school. Any concerns will fall upon def ears and place you squarely in the administration's crosshairs."
"The best decision we ever made for our children. We came into middle school during covid and it couldn't have been a more important time. The strong Christian beliefs make for a great foundation at such a vulnerable age. Our children entered behind, very behind, thanks to virtual learning. However, in just a short time they are not only caught up but are excelling. With the world and our country in the state that its in, we are so thankful to HRA for providing a safe, nurturing and reliable place for our children to learn and grow in faith."
"While the teachers are great, under the current administration I would not recommend Holy Rosary Academy. They have created an incredibly toxic, dangerous, and unhealthy environment, filled with gaslighting, and refusal to accept criticism or admit mistakes. A simple google search would have alerted those in the hiring position that this is someone that should not have be entrusted to lead a Catholic school with a longstanding history of loving its students and families."
"To say the Holy Rosary Academy learning environment has become toxic over the last two years would be an understatement. If you prefer an administration that will not support you or your child, will use fear instead of love to lead, and who will leave your family with an unforgettably traumatic experience, then the school might actually be for you. Run, do not walk, when considering entrusting your children to what should be a safe space for encouragement, development, and a Catholic environment filled with gospel values and a commitment to excellence....as the school mission is stated. Google the current administration, read the details of every lawsuit, and know that if you feel "it can't be that bad," it's actually worse."
