"My children are seen here. My daughters missed their scheduled appointments on January 2, 2024 and I was charged $185 instead of $150 ($75 for each child) like the policy stated. I've been trying to reach someone in billing since to discuss this charge. I tried talking to their therapist, but she will not respond to my text when I mention the over charge. I have left several messages. Stacey in billing returned my call and of course,I was unavailable to talk at the time. Now I can't get anyone to return my call or answer their phone. If this issue persists, I will definitely be taking my money and children to a company who actually shows more professionalism and actually communicate with their patient's."
"The initial setup was ok. We’re 5 months in and it’s extremely difficult to reach someone. All lines (Hendersonville location and billing) that I call go to voicemail, I leave a message and when my call is returned I am at work and can’t answer. I totally understand the business of day to day routines but I’ve been calling and playing phone tag for a week now."
"Referral set up by Vandy for an urgent need for my kid, but they never called me. I called and left messages twice explaining both the referral and the urgent need as well as speaking to the receptionist twice. Never called back. Called with help from insurance, to which they gave entirely different instructions for setting up care and a timeline of 3 days. Again, my child is in immediate need and I explained this. The receptionist acted completely different with insurance on the phone. Followed her instructions thru the website requesting the care that we needed so badly, cited our Vandy referral again and what was happening. STILL NEVER CALLED ME BACK. Would NEVER entrust this practice with helping my family, myself, or anyone who asked. THUMBS DOWN."
"I fully understand why people think so badly about this facility. They told me that my insurance was accepted. Then after two visits they said no we don't so we parted ways. Then 6 Mos or more go by and they charge my card for the two visits. That was the wrong thing to do. They should have sucked it up and went about their day. I would not have made the appointments in the first place if they told me WHEN I ASKED that they were not in my network. Needless to say I will not recommend them to anyone."
"I’ll give myself a lobotomy before I ever recommend Restore Life Behavioral Health to anyone. This is by far the worst place I’ve ever tried to seek mental health services from. It’s abundantly clear that this practice is just that— PRACTICE. And tragically far from perfect. I filled out and turned in my intake paperwork TWO MONTHS before I ever received the first phone call from them. Not even a confirmation that my intake paperwork was received. I am an adult woman and was paired with a counselor that specializes in working with autistic children and SOMETIMES works with adults, too. And has only been in mental health for four years. The intake process was sloppy, there’s a very obvious breakdown in communication both in office and with clients. Every single time I called, I never got through to a person, just a voicemail box. I tried to call and cancel services with them LAST WEEK and the one call that did go through (bc Verizon had an outage) was not returned, so I called the day of my appointment to cancel services. Though I’m aware that clearly, I had to have signed an authorization that included my card number for them to charge me, there was absolutely ZERO mention of this charge while I was discussing my reasons for cancellation. Bear in mind, my paperwork that included this authorization was turned in TWO MONTHS AGO. At minimum it would have been nice to have been extended the professional courtesy of telling me I was to be charged. And although they were open for two more hours after I’d called and left a message about my complaint, I didn’t receive a call until today. During which, the woman I spoke with was incredibly patronizing and downright rude. And clearly didn’t appreciate having the same attitude returned to her."
