Reviews of Hannas Cafe
"The bouncers are extremely aggressive. One bouncer yelled at my group for turning on an outside heater and grabbed my fiancé’s Miller Lite bottle out of his hand and threw it at a wall. He then yelled at another female at our group before throwing her out for asking what was going on. Then he yelled at my fiancé before screaming at him as he shoved him out the door. During this encounter our group did not yell or fight back, but the bouncer continued to scream and throw objects."
"The bar has a large patio area and propane heater lamps stationed throughout the patio. With it being a cold night on the patio a friend of mine who I was with switched one on which had no sign or notice that it was out of order or not to be turned on. Immediately upon doing so a bouncer ran over to him and asked him if he worked there. My friend respectfully responded that he did not and immediately apologized and turned it off. The bouncer proceeded to yell obscenities' at him and took his beer out of his hand and smashed it against a wall. I have never seen someone behave this way. The employee in question was extremely threatening and appeared to be on some kind of stimulant. My girlfriend then in an attempt to deescalate the situation apologized again to the bouncer and told him we would move away from the heater that was now turned off. He then proceeded to direct his anger towards her telling her to "Shut the **** up" and called her a "B****." Again entirely unacceptable and something I have never experienced with anyone I have ever interacted with whether they be a service worker or just an individual on the street. They proceeded to kick both of them out pushing them along the entire way. Again they never once talked back or were uncooperative with the bouncer. The bouncer in question had dirty blonde hair and was working the patio Saturday night 1/27/2024. I hope that management takes action against this individual."
"I came here over the weekend with a couple of friends. We were outside on the patio and he decided to turn on the propane tank because it was a little chilly. A couple of bouncers came over and started aggressively attacking him for “not working here” and “what right he had touching the bars tanks”. The bouncer grabbed his beer bottle and smashed it against the wall. I politely said that this behavior was unnecessary and we both were thrown out of the bar for absolutely being calm individuals. This place needs to background check workers. So scary."
"I was AGGRESSIVELY yelled at and kicked out for turning on one of the propane heaters that are provided outside on the patio. Multiple bouncers cussed me out, one took my drink out of my hand and literally smashed it against a wall. It was so embarrassing considering I didn’t do anything wrong or overreact in any way. I was cooperating completely and was treated like an animal. This place hires the worst bouncers on the planet I can’t believe people this hateful actually exist. Don’t waste your time here. It’s an embarrassment to the great city of Knoxville."
"The music is repetitive. Always the same every weekend. It can be very fun, but prepare to wait for drinks. They have limited bartending staff. It's often very wet inside. The bathrooms are small. Again, owners should do some updating because parts of this bar aren't even accessible. It's an ok place, I've been to much better clubs but if you just want to dance for a bit, you'll have fun"
