"I am new to the area and my former Gyn recommended this practice. I arrived early to fill out paperwork and then waited...and waited...After clearing up an office-created insurance issue I didn't know was going on, they finally got me back 35 minutes after my appointment time. Nurse was great! Doctor, however, not so much. I asked for refills on a couple of prescriptions I have taken as needed for 20 years. One she quizzed me on, and the other she flat out refused to write. For 20 years I've never had a Gyn refuse this RX. I only use 90 of these pills per year, only when absolutely necessary. She recommended I go to my GP to get it. But I get one free well-woman visit per year, and this was it. Now I have to make an appt with a GP, wait a month to get in as a new patient, spend at least $150 towards our deductible to see this GP, and hope he/she will write the RX. This Gyn didn't seem to care about why I take this medicine, no concern at all. Plus she said she would get me info on some natural medications and then she didn't. When I asked about it at check-out, the receptionist had no idea what I was talking about, so she "tried" to find the doctor and couldn't. She said, "I don't know what you want me to do..." so I just left. She didn't offer to follow-up and call me back, leave a note for the nurse, nothing. She was rude, bothered by my presence, and completely uninterested in me. This was probably the worst doctor's visit I have ever had (I've been seeing Gyns for about 30 years now) and now not only am I looking for a GP, but a new Gyn as well."
