"This school will suspend students that are autistic and if your iep plan is setup for behavior, they will still suspend your child without having a meeting to adjust the plan. Teachers call you with an attitude as if your child with a disability has control of their autism, If your child has a bad day at school. If your child have sensory issues, don’t worry, this school will trigger all those sensory issues all at once. Autistic kids are runners, the teachers get very surprised and angered if your child decides to run. God forbid your child have a Mellt down, they will claim your kid is bad and you parents have to do something about their behavior as if all the therapy they already receive is not enough. Their motto should be if you have a iep plan, Macon hall don’t care. Your child is bad and out of hand. If your child have special needs look for another district. They no longer have sped teachers only general ed. So if your kid is out the range of general ed, suspension until they can kick your kid out of school. Horrible district."

"This school was an amazing school. However it had flaws that can be changed. The teachers are very nice and understanding, and some are humorous too! This is most likely the nicest group of students you'll meet, so make contacts with them now cause it all changes dramatically in middle school. As for academia and teaching styles, they aren't very strong. Although there are notable teachers who know how to engage the students, many teachers have rather boring presentation of their lessons and it's often unrelatable. My fifth grade teachers really knew how to explain things, give fun and interactive examples, and it helped me raise my grades. Of course this is an elementary school, so there are probably only 3 extracurricular activities or maybe less so there isn't much involvement of the student body. School policies aren't strictly enforced because there is little to any disciplinary action required for students, which is great! This school is great overall!"
