L27 Rooftop Lounge

"My daughter and I sat at the bar on February 24 in the early evening. Sat right in front of the till as the bartender was counting sorting money. She kept up steady conversation with the bar back and two other servers. We sat right in front of her, and she never made eye contact with us. we decided to be polite and wait for her to finish all the money counting because I know that’s a big job. She did, and then proceeded to busy herself with many other things, and never attempted to make eye contact with us right in front of her. The bar back didn’t say anything either. They continue to laugh and gossip. I checked my watch and we sat seven minutes , we were alone at the bar because at the very end they had already eaten and had drinks. We were sitting in front of drinks that another couple had just left. Finally, I said, let’s go, and only then did the bartender look at us, and I said thanks for the lack of service, and she replied, I didn’t even see you. Well, that was an untruth… She didn’t want to see us, but if it had been the truth then she’s all lousy bartender, her job is customer service and she didn’t attempt to do any of it. It is clear when someone is avoiding looking at someone else, and that’s exactly what happened last night. A shame because the lounge is decorated beautifully and we could’ve had a wonderful time. Hope she’s not the only one on staff or this place will go downhill faster than a black diamond run."

"Service was VERY slow. Ordered a bottle of cab, server tried to give us the most expensive bottle instead of offering an option. Luckily, I caught it before they opened the bottle. We walked to the edge of the patio to watch fireworks, and the staff cleared our table. They threw away a full beer and half a glass of wine. We were gone 2 minutes and hadn't paid our check yet. When we told them we wanted our drinks replaced, the server asked how much wine was in the glass..lol Really? Just pour your customer a glass for the inconvenience! Please train your staff better."

"The food tasted pretty good but the chicken wasn't really my favorite. They also charged me for a shot for fifteen dollars when I got a drink so they charge me twice for 2 different drinks. The turkey burger was lovely. The only problem was in the menu it said $17 but they charged me$21. Nice views. The table we sat at had the air-conditioning leaking water on our table so we had to move. Needs a little upkeep but it was cool."
