"Today, I went up to the pharmacy to pick up my Rx. Mr. Sanjay P. finally came up to me after waiting for sometime, very rude. He said my Rx was not ready, would not even look me in the eye. He said they were extremely busy. I asked about how long did he think it might be due to me leaving and would be running some errands in the meantime. He aggressively said he was not sure and seemed frustrated with any questions I asked. Does not seem nice at all and very poor customer service. I told him I was just asking. Thankfully when I came back after my errands, I got a sweet lady to help me. She was very kind and helpful. As I watched him in the background, he seemed very disrespectful to his coworkers and not kind. It’s like you should not ask him for anything and to just get out of his way. I don’t know if he was just having a bad day or what. He just did not seem very helpful or kind. I hope to never be served by him again. Makes me feel like I need to get my prescription filled else where."
"The lady in the window was very rude. She also did not wanna give me my change for my child’s medicine. I had to leave my mother in the car after she just had 4 teeth cut out just to go inside to get my change. After I sent the receipt by the box at the window."
"Nice store and pharmacy."
"They have everything"
"Yesterday I went to this Walgreens to pick up an Rx for a family member's 8 month old that is in my care while his parents are away. He was seen by the Pediatrician that I work for so I confirmed before leaving the office that the Rx was sent and that it was sent to the correct Pharmacy. I also had in my possession his Pharmacy card. Now I did everything that I could possibly do to make this transaction as simple as possible. I pull up to the window put the card in the draw and inform that I am picking up an Rx for that patient/person. Sometimes my lingo gets crossed up in transition from the provider's office to the consumer. Anyway, I am advised by the Pharmacy Tech (I am assuming) that this Rx has been processed and paid for by his insurance company already today and it could not be processed again. Confused I ask her, "Are you telling me that his Rx has already been paid for and picked up at another Pharmacy?" She says yes. I said that isn't even possible as his parents are out of the country, he only went to the Pediatrician that I worked for, it was only sent to one Pharmacy, and the child is in my care. She said there is nothing I can do because it has already been paid for previously today. Again, I am expressing that this isn't possible. She then asks a man who appears to be the Pharmacist (Man in white coat) if she could call the insurance company to see why it is showing that it was already processed, he shakes his head no. I am becoming livid (only on the inside as I am not one to show anger in public). I am confused because it is Miralax and an ointment, who would even want that Rx twice?!?! No controlled substance no antibiotic but honestly something that I could surely get over the counter. However at this point it is the principle. She then looks at me as to say maam will you please leave the window because there is nothing else that I can do. I told her I would contact the insurance company and find out what is going on. I immediately call Cigna (the Pharmacy Plan) and get this really nice lady smiling and working after 6:00 pm. She helps me tremendously. She tells me that the Pharmacy that previously processed the Rx was in fact the Pharmacy I had just pulled away from 5 minutes before. She then tells me that they will need to have it reversed. I asked if she and I could call the Pharmacy on three-way so that she could explain to them how to do their job. She said yes and immediately began the conference call. She then tells the Pharmacy what we were calling about and the "Pharmacy Tech" is very short with us stating that the Rx's are ready for pick. Now I am confused, but not really because I knew exactly what happened! I then say but that's not what you told me, the tech tells the Insurance Representative to reverse the claim and the insurance rep said not you will need to call a different department. The pharmacy tech did not even ask for the number which indicated that she was well aware of what needed to be done. She says the Rx's are ready and quickly ends the call. Now let me recap my issue: You processed the Rx prior to my arrival and when I get there you attempt to do it again causing the issue at hand. You don't listen to me and are not concerned with resolving the issue you caused in the first place. You let me leave without making any attempts to contact the insurance company. You are rude with myself and the insurance company once you realize that we are forcing you to correct your mistake. I am not concerned about your education, your certificate, or your training because it means nothing when your customer service skills are non-existent. I really empathize with parents and patients, because not only are you dealing with a sick child but you are also dealing with poor customer service and incompetent employees whether it be at the actual doctor's office or the pharmacy. We get calls daily about issues with the Pharmacy, I always stop and call the pharmacy on their behalf because of this. Please do better, advocate for the patients!!!"
