"Constant violence and bullying"
"The kids there are mean and they cuss alot...even in front of the teachers i do not recommend this school for your child"
"I attended Burt Middle School in fourth grade, but was promptly taken out and put into a private school after being placed with a teacher I was uncomfortable with. Now, I was always a very sensitive, untrusting, and shy child so I do not hold the school accountable for my own specific issues with a, most likely, perfectly decent teacher. However, when I came back for my fifth grade year I did have some problems. While I absolutely loved my teacher, the P.E teacher was another story. I do not know if he still works here, considering he was older when I knew him. He was a loud, brass, and outright frightening man to me. One particular incident has stayed with me to this day. While in class, he began blindly chucking basketballs into the crowd of children I was with. One ball hit me directly in the face, and my head flung back and hit my friend. As a way to apologize (without ever actually saying sorry) or a way to keep us quiet, he invited us up to his office and gave us soda. I was uncomfortable and scared, so much so that I waited 5-6 years to actually tell my family about it. If I had said something before, maybe he could've been fired."
"This was my first school after moving from Puerto Rico to Clarksville. I found it as a prime example of what a school should be. The principal knew everyone and the teachers knew everyone. Everyone knew each other and Everyone was your friend. There were never fights, and the teachers were always nice and fun. We never had homework on fridays, and we had lots of activities that involved students and parents. I miss this school very much and I wish I was still a 5th grader. A shout out to all of my teachers and friends who may be reading this!"
