Club Stilettos (Go Go Club)

"Went to hang out and see what I could spend on a Sunday night. Started off alright- dancers on stage were doing wonderfully. Around Midnight the dancers just sort of stopped. There were 3 or 4 patrons inside and then me, some were playing pool, so I can understand that it isn't worthwhile to flex on stage. As a courtesy to not be the only person watching dances- I left the stage area and played pool with one of the dancer's boyfriends. Lost a few rounds and then... there was nothing. I mean that- nothing at all. I dunno if I just give off old man vibes for over 30, or what. I just can't fathom what was going on. Some of the ladies lounged in the VIP, some played pool, some watched me consolidate my cash that I had intended to spend back into 100 dollar bills. And then I sat a little longer. Finally- 1:15 or so hit... I just told the bouncer that I guessed I was done, and took off, cash in pocket. I didn't really want to be. I would have loved some private dances- nobody asked. I would have continued to fork over 10s on the dance floor... nobody was up there. I really don't know what was going on- but it looked just as soulless as my job... people trying to run out the clock so they can go home. Sad, but- isn't everything these days? We all just want a little bit of party in our lives- but that night was not it. Edit to say: I am upping by a star, 2 is a bit unfair. Bouncer was polite and congenial. The girls looked nice, and when they were up on stage most had talent. Good core strength and pole work, not a ton of guest interaction, but- that's not some women's jam. And having the pool tables is a pretty nice way to pull it up from the category of strip club and gives it an interesting vibe- not a seedy."
