"My favorite barbershop ever. Moved to San Diego in 2020 during the pandemic and had trouble finding a barbershop that had what I wanted. Eventually stumbled upon Sovereign and haven't looked back. Every barber there is amazing, but Rennan is especially the best owner of a barbershop I've encountered. He's professional, extremely talented, and treats his customers amazingly! If you're look for a nice, relaxing, chill atmosphere and a great haircut, definitely go to Sovereign Barbershop!"

"This is by far the best barber shop I have ever been to. People always ask me where I get my haircut, and I'm always proud to say Sovereign. The owner, Rennon, makes everyone feel like an old friend. The shop is comfortable, clean, and inviting. They've made several modifications to account for COVID. You can tell they take it seriously, without making anyone feel unwelcomed. Make sure to call ahead for an appointment, there is a reason they are usually booked out for a few days, they're worth the wait. **Update** This place is still top notch. So much so that getting an appointment with a particular barber can take up to 2 weeks. So call ahead, but worth the wait!"

"Justin did a fantastic job! I requested an "undercut", which I haven't gotten in quite some time... I've been growing my hair out for 1+ months and it grew out of control. Justin had the eye to see past the forest that was growing on my head and execute what I requested. His cut was super clean and didn't have any loose ends. I just moved to San Diego and I was on the hunt for new barber. It's always difficult finding a new barber who you can trust. Justin is extremely friendly, honest (listens to your needs), and professional. Every time I go there, there are full of happy people getting their haircuts, having a good time. The Barbers are all solid. You can tell they know their craft based on the time they take and the skills they use. The shop is diverse, and welcome anyone who wants a clean cut. You will feel comfortable going there, asking for any hairstyle. Me and my 8 year old son personally go to Rennan. He has taking care of us for the past 4 years with excellent cuts, great product recommendations and hairstyle suggestions. You will not be disappointed!!!"
