"I love this barber shop My 4 year old son doesn't like getting his hair cut, but Markle makes him feel comfortable and always hooks his hair up. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to the fact you can't make same day appointments, and when you call the barber shop you can't speak to anyone they only refer you to their website. Other than that I would definitely recommend this shop."

"Been going to this barber shop for about a year and a half now, been getting good cuts ever since until my last one. Markel Kidd would cut my hair every time, at times he would do things without asking like shaving off part my mustache or cutting too much of my sides, but usually he’s good. I usually only cut the sides and leave the top to tie back or braid, but last time i went i told Markel to only cut a little piece of the top for me, i made it clear to make sure that it’s long enough for me to be able to still tie my hair back and to ONLY cut the tips of the top. Instead, he messed up and cut my hair while it was still in a ponytail (possibly because he wasn’t focused while we were having a conversation), he ended up cutting a big chunk of my hair on the back and left side (as shown in the pictures) and made my hair completely uneven and inconsistent, i have absolutely no idea how he was even okay with letting me walk out like that, i’ve been getting comments from my family and co workers and it’s actually extremely embarrassing. I’ve been going to him for more than a year, so he also knows that i leave my hair hanging on the side when i don’t tie it back, but still cut most of my left side off. He admitted to cutting it to short and when i asked him if ill be able to tie my hair back he replied with “it looks good bro honestly you might not have to tie it back”, which is obviously very frustrating because i only asked him for ONE thing, which was to leave it long enough to tie back. I am going on vacation next week to see family that i haven’t seen in years, and that’s why i went to him thinking he’d take care of me. While at the shop, he styled my hair and basically glued it back, so it didn’t seem short, once i got home i realized how bad he messed up and how inconsistent all my hair was. I texted him pictures and told him how unsatisfied with the cut i was. he replied the next day and told me to call him, i called him and explained to him everything that happened. he tried telling me that “it’s just hair” and then saying “oh well you’re going to egypt so you could just put your egyptian hat on you’ll be good” and basically just brushing it off. he asked me to come in for a free cut and i said that there was nothing to cut because he already cut it too short and that i want a refund, he continued to try to brush it off, so once my tone changed and i began getting annoyed he tried to flip it around and tell me to stop talking to him in that tone, he then told me to call his number instead of instagram, and once he hung up and i called his number he declined the calls. he then texts me saying AGAIN that he will cut my hair for free, i proceeded to tell him that i do not want a cut because there is nothing to cut and that i want a refund. he then said that Kings of Kings barber has a no refund policy and that he will not refund me and that it was nice doing business with me for the past year. It’s crazy how he knows how bad he messed up my hair yet still tries to brush it off and act like it isn’t bad and tries to give me unnecessary and inappropriate solutions like “put your Egyptian hat on when you get to egypt” and “you still look alright it’ll grow back” What bothered him is me saying that I would speak with the owner and leave a review if he does not refund me (the cut is $35 i give him tips so came out to $43). he didnt care and then blocked me on instagram and number. I’ve yet to speak to Teo the owner regarding the situation. The barber shop overall is a great shop with great vibes, and markel himself is a good dude, i just didn’t appreciate him not taking responsibility for his mess up and trying to brush it off likes it’s nothing and telling me “it’s just hair it’ll grow back” then not refunding me. all the barbers are very friendly and make you feel welcomed. as of now, I am unable to go to the shop to talk to the owner because of my work, but will be going whenever i can and will update this review once resolved."

"I started going to King of Kings Barber Shop this past year and I have not been disappointed with a single haircut! I’ve gotten my haircut from Markel, and also from Anthony. Both guys are incredible barbers. I highly recommend coming here. An amazing barbershop with great conversations and even greater haircuts. 10/5 stars"
