"Today my daughter and I had the honor of meeting John Barber and his wife. Some time ago, I bought a glass sculpture in the shape of a star, made by John and I was always curious to know more about his art. I live about 20 minutes away from his factory, we decided to take the star sculpture, with the intention of meeting the Artisan. He received us very cordially and talked with us for approximately 20 minutes. He told us that the star was made as a limited edition for the opening of the Laguna Beach Hotel Montage in 2003, and that he only made 1,000 in total. I feel very happy to have found a piece of art with such beauty and exclusivity. Truly, it is fascinating to meet a craftsman and artist who keeps this ancient art expression alive. I recommend that you visit his factory and art store, very special and beautiful things there."

"I purchased a glass garden stake at the sawdust festival in Laguna Beach yesterday from this seller. I carefully selected the one that I wanted. While I was getting the cash out to pay for the item, the checkout clerk switched the figurine with a damaged one. It’s chipped in two places and there was also a sticker on it. The one I selected was in perfect condition with no sticker. That is just so crazy to be swindled at an art festival…guess there’s a first time for everything. I do not recommend this seller. Drove back and exchanged the item purchased no questions asked . It was a hassle driving back."
