Magdaleno's Barber Shop

"It's more on a 3-star side, at a 2.81, but still didn't feel like it was a 3. Time: Monday afternoon (my very first visit to this shop) Price paid: $50 ($25 fade, each for both of my kids) Barber: An old gentlemen. He was the only one there, probably the owner of the shop. I didnt notice more than 3 barber chairs. He's a cool older man and was friendly with my boys. Style of haircut: 1st. Mid-high fade with a 0 on the sides and 5 on top. 2nd. Same height for the fade but a drop on the back with 0 on the sides and 3 on top. Reason for 2-Star: 1st of all, the back wasn't blended in correctly, it was noticeable more on my son that wanted a 5 on top. 2nd, we do have light growth on our temples (box area) but when he went over it with a guard, it cut more than it shouldve so it ended up looking like a bald spot. Lastly, he botched the left corner side of his shape up, keaving it slanted. He tried his best to fix it, but you can only cut so much. Paid him for his time and we were on our way. It's more on a 3-star side, at a 2.81, but still didn't feel like it deserved a 3 from me. This isn't a reflection of all the other barbers or the way they run the shop, even though they may be cool people's, the quality of the fade wasn't there. For a longer regular cut, the older gentleman might have pulled it off and it has the potential to be in the low 4 stars. I'll still give the shop another chance because I like to support Brown businesses, but the condition would have to be with another barber. P.S. I'm a novice barber but very familiar with the cutting process. -Best of luck"
