"I do not write reviews, ever. But this place deserved it. I was in from out of town for a few weeks, and looking for a good barber. After stopping at multiple spots on a Sunday that were reservation only, I stumbled upon this place, and I am glad I did. As most were waiting for the owner, I rolled the dice with the first seat on the right, and she did an amazing job. I went to another barbershop 2 weeks early when I first got to long beach, and if I am ever back, I will for SURE use Junipero. A smaller place, but truly a diamond in the rough, and not only a better cut, but 10$ cheaper than the previous shop. You simply cannot beat not only the price, but the quality of cut you will receive here. For someone who has used the same barber for 20 years at home in Chicago, I can say these ladies are TOP NOTCH, and would recommend anyone who is questioning trying this place out, or looking for a new quality/affordable barber, do not hesitate, this is the place for you."

"I used to drive an hour to get a haircut for $9 but that was just too far, so I decided to try this place. The two ladies are very friendly and know their hair. I explained a custom haircut and they nailed it. Totally going back. Make sure you call and make an appointment or else you can wait a while."
