For background, I’m a Marine veteran and have always kept the medium skin fade like I used to get in the Corps, except, it’s often times difficult to find a barber who can really cut a quality fade and I’m very picky. Val went above and beyond. I told her what I wanted, and she not only cut a perfect medium fade, but her years of experience is what set her apart and instead of just taking a set amount off the top, she worked with the shape of my head and my type of hair to help accentuate and contour the top while still maintaining the look I wanted. Every other barber simply throws on a guard or scissors to a specific length on the top. Val did what I haven’t had a barber do in years. She’s also a blast to chat with and it’s so much fun every time I go. Highly recommend!"
