"Dr. Takeuchi I'd the best dentist I have ever had. I come from a long line of trauma when it comes to dentist and Dr. Takeuchi is very understanding about that. He makes me feel comfortable even when going through serious dental work. He has stayed late just to accommodate my work schedule. In an emergency, he gave me a cell number to reach him on the weekend. The staff is always nice and accommodating. I love my dentist."
"My wife lost her job and with it dental coverage. Subsequently, rather than taking X-rays every year we only wanted them taken every two years. Rather than understanding our situation, we were told that we needed to find another dentist. Our patronage over the last decade apparently worth nothing."
"He is definitely the worst dentist I have ever been to. Would give 0 stars if I could. I don't recommend anyone to go to Takeuchi's office. He has some serious anger management issues. Doug has a very condescending attitude and does things how he wants, refusing to listen to patient's concerns. He tried to fix one tooth and ended up damaging two other ones. Don't ever go to this office, you will regret it. Go to this office if you want all of your teeth to be destroyed and fall out. Due to COVID, he is finding ways to make more money by fixing something, but damaging everything else."
"I've been Dr. Takeuchi's patient for about 7 years. He is great: very thorough, provides detailed explanations of the issues he discovered and outlines treatment options, and is always friendly and willing to answer questions. Everyone in his office is a pleasure to work with. There are also various sedation options available to reduce patient anxiety. I used to hate going to the dentist; now it's a non-issue (never thought I'd say that)."
