"Great taste food and they have all kinds of meats but the best is shampurado, it’s a hot drink"
"Pass by this place from freeway exit many time, finally got to try it Its actully good, like the lengua Big space and a lot of lemon sauce stuff you can grab"
"Their food is good. But the servings are small. There’s free refills on the fountain drinks. There’s also plenty of seating indoors. Their service is wonderful. The atmosphere is casual."
"I tried lengue, asada, palsto, polo tacos, and every meat had a juicy flavor to it. I was really happy with all the tacos"
"Tacos El Gavilan Finally had a chance to visit this place again after Covid. Had a hankering for tacos and thought why not? Snapped a photo of the entrance before walking in, an hour before they closed. Wasn't a lot of customers there but while I was perusing my choice I noticed that a line was slowly but surely forming behind me. The girl at the counter was nice and smiled patiently as I peered at the menu above. Ordered my carnitas tacos and proceeded to the drinking station. I couldn't make my mind up between the horchata and tamarindo as both of them tasted good. I did what normal adults do, a process of elimination called, "eenie, mini, mynie, mo" and landed on tamarindo, so I chose horchata (lol) and filled up the cup, no ice of course. At the salsa bar, it has changed a lot since Covid. It used to be open salsa bar, now they are all pre-packaged. The beans are still AYCE so I got 2 little cups of beans, 2 of the packaged green salsa, and two of red, and a small bag of onions and cilantro. Unfortunately they ran out of shredded lettuce. These give the tacos more crunch and a welcome freshness to cut through the fat from the carnitas. My order was exactly how I wanted it so this piggy went to town. Ate the two tacos with the green salsa and one small cup of beans. As usual I removed the second tortilla. I took home the rest of the beans and salsa for breakfast the following day. The place was bright and clean, and parking wasn't a problem. Then again this was close to midnight. Haven't checked out the restroom and don't intend to, just to refute what others are saying about the cleanliness."
