"I’d have to say, the food was amazing. Most of it tasted delicious. However, the quesadillas with carnitas were a little bland, and the menudo tasted a little non-authentic. I also had a problem with the price, as I was a little baffled with the 15 dollar menudo and 5 dollar bottle of Jamaica. Either way, I loved the experience overall, really good food, and if you go eat, I recommend the tacos."
"The Tortas Ahogadas was amazing! My wife is from Guadalajara Mexico and this was just as good as the suegras! We also had the Tacos De Canasta and Tacos Dorados. All were delicious. Service was great. Not much parking inside but plenty of street parking. 5 stars all around."
"Wow, the food was delicious. I love that the owner gave me some samples of other products that they serve. Now I have a new favorite. The meat is super soft. Tell me what you guys think ???? Check out the picture"
"The first time I ever had a torta ahogada was in Irapuato, Mx, and I've been on the search for one similar ever since. This place hits it on the mark. The torta ahogada I had was with carnitas, which is how I had it in Mexico, and it was so delicious! The torta is filled with freshly chopped carnitas and topped with cabbage and thinly sliced onions; then the magic ahogada sauce. The savory red sauce is tame with heat, but so flavorful! Then they give you a red, plastic container with a spicy salsa to add on top. At first glance, it is a bit overwhelming; do you pick it up? Do you use a fork and knife? Just go it! My wife and I dove right in its magnificent, messy glory. Salsa running down your hands, sweat beginning to trickle down your face, and all you can do is smile. I recommend getting the combination plate, which includes the torta but also a taco Dorado underneath; it added such a great crunch to the entire dish. A pro move is to ask for some extra cabbage on the side and add it as you go; it provides a next level freshness and crunch that enhances the entire dish. The staff was very nice and welcoming and made everything just absolutely great. The food can always be delicious, but it makes a difference when the staff is kind; it makes the food taste better. They also serve tacos de canasta, tostadas, carne en su jugo, menudo, tacos dorados, and juices. I got one combination torta plate, one regular torta, 2 tacos de canasta, and 1 large bottled soda, and I paid about $36. If you are around the area, I recommend trying this place out, and I know you won't be disappointed. And do yourself a favor by getting a Medio litro glass coke to wash it down."
