"Really has gone downhill. Up until about 4 years ago it was good. I tried them couple of times since then, every time the haircut was not good."
"Cut my hair super short after I asked just for an inch off and they showed me how much they would cut it and then proceeded to cut it way more then they showed."
"The barber stylist is a bit anachronistic. It's sort of feels like it's still the '60s inside. The advertising says they cut the hair of men and boys. Until a couple years ago, I had only ever been helped by a male barber. Normally, all of this would have caused me to walk on by the place. But, I lived very close to it and I tried it out once about 10 years ago. It was the best haircut I've received in the Bay area and it cost about half as much as most of them. Even today, the value you get is quite high since the prices are quite low. Try it out."
"Because it is cheap and convenient, I have been going here for a some years. Generally the haircuts are okay. A few of the barbers are good, but there is a lot of turnover there. It's like a box of chocolates...you never know what you are gonna get. New faces pretty much every visit. Today was the WORST. "Tight around the ears and a little off the rest all over" turned into a bad buzz cut. Actually, a real buzz cut would have been more even. The barber was a Vietnamese woman named Tina, I think. I don't think she understood me at all. This is not a racial or cultural thing; I just don't think she understands much English, and I think she is inexperienced. Not going back to the "haircut lottery"."
"I've been there today morning. Was quite skeptical after reading google reviews. Old gentleman asked how I want it and did exactly as I asked. To be honest I don't have fancy haircut, but not typical either. I'm happy with the result. I had my hair stuffed up by hairdresser who did my hair for years. This was good experience."
