"Just to verify Bob's frame & suspension Simi Valley is open for business and did a great job recently checking my Grand Cherokee's chassis for straightness as well as a full alignment. Today 10/09/2023 I just visited him again to make another appointment for the same vehicle, as since I saw him last, I made some unplanned drivers side front bumper/body structure "modifications" during my last trail run when I slid into a dirt berm. "I saw all the great reviews but that was not my experience. I showed him several photos before pricing was discussed and he quoted me an hourly rate. After arriving at his place he said he wasn't sure if he could fix my truck and couldn't even provide an estimate but if he could fix it in 2 hours he wanted $2000. Apparently he is looking for his next victim to pay his rent. Not everybody is that stupid Bob. My advice if you use this shop, get a written estimate in hand before or don't let him touch your vehicle ..the law requires him to do just that. The guy will take advantage of you because as he said "you are not my friend "and " I would rather be at home having a drink.""

"I don't write a lot of online reviews, but Bob deserves my kudos! I bought a 2016 Jeep with a bent frame and a series of unfortunate repairs designed to mask the problem. Bob performed a careful evaluation and offered the required repairs at a very fair price. I was very impressed with his work. The vehicle is now beautifully aligned, the hood lines are true and it drives like new again! A local master mechanic told me that Bob is the best in Simi Valley. I enthusiastically agree. "I brought a "totaled" truck to bob 6 months ago after being turned down or given ridiculous price quotes from about a dozen shops in the L.A. area. I had bottomed out so hard running off the road that the actual shock bracket welded to the frame was pierced by the shock itself. Not only did bob do what others said couldn't be done, but he did an incredible job fixing other things that had broken in the crash to get me up and running again. He communicated with me every step of the way and was HONEST. Everything was priced fairly and he even ordered good aftermarket parts where applicable to save me money! Fast forward 4 months later and my truck has endured 1,000s of off-road miles through some of the most grueling terrain Baja has to offer. All while being loaded down with roughly 1,000 pounds of gear and food/water. I can not recommend this shop enough! Bob came through for me when others couldn't, and then his work was proven true with a real test in one of the harshest driving environments in the world! Great welder, great mechanic, stand up guy!"
