I really didn’t know where to start, so Ms. Kalusa asked me questions about my feet and past footwear, and was quickly able to narrow down what type of shoe would work best for my feet. Her precise knowledge of the footwear she sold saved me significant time trying on shoe after shoe to find what would work. That said, when we did narrow it down her patience was incredible when I requested to try on different colors or styles within that category. Her kindness and warmth make coming in a pleasure. She remembers things I have mentioned in prior visits, and it truly feels like a neighborhood store rather than a franchise. A recent fall has me in a boot, and she was able to fit me with an extender so that the shoe on my good leg was the same height as the boot, which makes moving around so much easier. "Naomi helped me and she was really nice. The store had good selection for running shoes in wide size like mine. I got to try both Brooks Adrenaline and Hoka Bondi in 8.5 D, which are really hard to find at local stores like Roadrunner or REI. Even if they have the size, the colors are usually very limited. But I was able to get the size and color I wanted, so it was really worth the visit. :)"
