"I bought shoes here just before the Covid19 I had been looking for this one kind of Birkenstock shoe I had seen on the doctors I worked with in the hospital this shoe store of all the shoe stores I had been in one in home state of CO. And AZ. No one had them in either state I was on vacation with a friend and I said this is the last place I am going to look for shoes and they had them in my size. The ladies were wonderful and I wish to Thank them those shoes saved my life after 16or 18 hour shifts my legs and feet did not fail me. Thank You"

"I walked in with my wife to buy a pair and were told we have to have masks! The lady at the register was so rude about it too. We thought we were on a prank show we were so thrown off. You guys are in a touristy town and are the only place requiring masks outside of CA's now expired mandate. Even more odd, there was a paying customer at the register who wasn't wearing a mask? I think the owner of this store should maybe check up on things and train staff on a better approach, or choose a new line of work if this is how things are handled. We went to about 15+ other stores on the same street and didn't need a mask. Get it together...you guys left a foul taste in my mouth."

"Convenient shoe store in Coronado, specially when you are away from home and willing to get some comfortable walking shoes. They do sell Birkenstock and other nice brands. However, I would say that the clerks at the store are not nice nor willing to assist their clients. Sadly, because the last time I was there, two people left because the salesperson was not too helpful with the customers and she never left her place at the counter. I understand we need to keep social distancing, but this was way too much. She was also rude with me. Fortunately, I knew my size and what to get. So, I only ask for my size and pay. Again, I comprehend that Today, we are dealing with a serious pandemic problem. But, because of this people should be more cooperative, polite and friendly. Specially to their customers."

"I was anxious to get my first pair of Birkenstocks, however that didn't get to happen today. I was with my 2 small children and upon entering they wanted to check our temperatures which was fine and asked about the kids having masks. My 4 yr. Old had his on but my 1.5 yr. Old didn't have one. They asked that the kids wait outside while I shop. Are you kidding me? I understand that people are being cautious for covid19 I am hyper cautious myself. But there were no other customers in the store and he is a baby. The hospital doesn't even have his age wear a mask. And who in their right mind would leave a 1.5 yr. Old and 4 yr. Old out front of a store alone? I will never go there again. I will buy somewhere else."

"The young woman who helped with my selections, was simply delightful. I really wish that the Coronado store would have had a wider selection of Birks in suede/oiled leather for my big 45 size foot! Because if they would have had just one more color choice in suede, I could have made my purchase there. Instead I headed back to the store at 5th St in the Gaslamp. The clerk there was bloody awful. However, their selection of colors was much wider than at the Island store. So I had to just ignore her horrible attitude and purchase the sandals anyway. The only reason for the five star review is because of the wonderful young woman who helped me at the Coronado store! The Gaslamp clerk was trash!!!"
