"I went this week and got a facial by Cecilia Oztruk at Ms. Rachel's night class she was amazing explained every step she was doing and was very gentle. I highly recommend her. I left there with a glow on my face and also with my face so hydrated. I will definitely be going back."
"Came here to get my son a haircut. We usually go to the supercuts for the free haircuts, but I didn't have time available this week. I decided to take my son here since it's only 8 dollars. They did a really bad job. There was even a teacher watching over the student. At first it seemed fine. My son was excited to have his hair cut, but when we got home, you could see how choppy and uneven it was. Horrible. They even accepted a 10 dollar tip. Knowing what a horrible job they've done. They do a way better job on his free haircuts from supercuts. DON'T COME TO THIS SCHOOL FOR HAIRCUTS. THEY SHOULD NEVER LET THAT GUY TOUCH A PERSONS HEAD. HE WAS NOT READY AND SHAME ON THE TEACHER FOR LETTING A CLIENT WALK OUT THE DOOR LIKE THAT."
"I highly recommend Bianca she is so good with hair. It’s unbelievable that she’s a student. She needs to have her own salon. I highly recommend asking for her as she’s there till March. I got curtain bangs and beautiful layers. She’s amazing."
"Former esthetician student, let’s start with the school as a whole, very small school, very non inclusive demographic. Price is reasonable maybe even cheaper than bigger name cosmetology schools in the area. Now let’s get into the esthetician class. Two teachers rotate teaching. Ms Paula is a great teacher you can tell she genuinely loves teaching. Ms Trish however, former chda student with a power issue. Unfortunately I could never quite get along with this lady. The environment she cultivates in the class room is very “mean girl” like, you can tell she relies on this class to feel something wether it’s a sense of power or belonging but something is definitely off about this lady. Some of the ignorant comments made on the daily by her in an attempt to make the students laugh or like her more are jaw dropping. Some of the comments about former or absent students are jarring. A former student graduated that no one really cared for and Ms trish saw this as an opportunity to bond with students by talking trash for days about her. As far as teaching goes shell read everything you need to know to you directly out the book, get a “senior” student to show it to you once, then your on your own you are now “qualified” to perform that service. Any hesitation on performing the service will be met with a “you know how to do this, you’ve got this” as if that helps you feel more prepared to do a service not properly taught to you. You’re met with only one option which is self teach through mistakes on REAL paying clients. If a clients makes you uncomfortable you will still be forced to work on them at least by ms Trish. I watched as the same client was permitted to book every week though all the women in my class where uncomfortable with taking him, Ms Trish told us we should be happy to have a returning customer that tips, though we were all clearly uncomfortable. The program is a few months if it was any longer not sure I would finish as it is a big stressed in my life currently."
"Cut way too much of my hair off. I was growing it out for my wedding :( Looks choppy and botched, even after I had a SECOND TRIM BY THE TEACHER. They refused to refund me my money. I tried to style it and the bottom of my hair looks like Dora, super thick. Not to mention, I also got a “blowdry” but they don’t style, I left with choppy and poofy hair as seen in the photo. I understand it’s a school but even the teacher cut my hair after I came back crying and I STILL left with botched hair. There go 2 years of growing it out for nothing. For reference, my hair was down to the middle of my back and now it’s slightly passed my armpits. Incredibly disappointed in how the “teacher” handled. Will not be returning & do not recommend."
