"Do you ever leave a salon feeling like, "Oh this is good, but if maybe I had just thought to say this..." or just that you didn't have enough knowledge to express what you really wanted? Kaz is really a stylist you should try then! I'll preface this by saying that I'm a guy with long hair. I love my hair, but I haven't got a lot of knowledge or vocabulary to express what I want with my hair -- or even what's possible. Kaz always makes me feel at ease and there's never a doubt that she will do everything to understand what it is I want before starting to cut. She doesn't rush you and asks really good questions that even someone like me without the technical jargon can answer and express. She also has really good suggestions! I've been going to have my hair cut by her for 3 years now and she's at her new solo salon in Sola Salons in Kearney Mesa. Even if you are more knowledgeable and know what you want, I'm sure the other reviews will speak for themselves as to her skills. You'll just be able to get even more of them than me!"

"I’ve been getting my hair cut, bleached, and colored by Kaz since December 2021 and it’s now been a little over a year since then! Every time I leave her salon, I feel confident and happy because she styles my hair exactly how I like it. Other stylists I've been to before have typically been hesitant to cut my hair short and would tend to ask me "Are you sure you want it this way?", which I always found to be incredibly annoying! I would think to myself, "Yes... I want my hair that short... I'm paying you to cut it that short..." I've never experienced any of that weird hesitation with Kaz and I can comfortably ask her to style my hair how I actually want it. Besides being comfortable and feeling like a rockstar with her doing my hair, I also really admire her attention to detail. In regards to hair, she has a very keen eye for shaping and texture. There are other small things that I appreciate too, like how she gently towel dries my ears after rinsing my head and offers me a nice cup of green tea to drink while my hair is processing. While the small things may not seem to be that big of a deal to others, it definitely means a lot when evaluating integrity and character — it’s her diligence and attention to the little details that makes the whole experience all the more worth it.
