Reviews of Taco Truck REY de REYES
"Ordered birria tacos and a shrimp quesadilla (super). The tacos were pretty big and gave good amount of meat. Tasted good. I probably will not go back for the quesadilla. I prefer quesadillas to be cheesy and I hardly tasted the cheese on this."
"First let me mention that I don't speak a lick of Spanish. I went up to the window to ask for something and he smiled and put up a finger for us to wait. (BTW, this young man has a smile that would light up a room in the darkest of caverns) He called someone to translate for us and the whole process took about a minute. We ordered 3 carne asada burrito bowls and ate them all post haste. They were well made and yummy."
"This taco truck is my favorite in the city. You pay a premium price for high-quality, delicious food. I like that they have a dedicated area to eat in."
"Ordered over the phone but when I first arrived the cook inside was busy watching a soccer game I waited about 5 minutes until I got attended. I ordered a burrito torta and quesabirrias doradas only good thing was the burrito it was well balanced with traditional flavors and added avocado cause no excess grease and meat was good. Torta on the other hand was a mess it looked like they tossed a burrito bowl in between two buns no layers whatsoever the bread was really soggy I and finally the quisabirras dorradas were the thing I regretted buying the most. They are literally tacos cooked until the tortilla is hard with a coating of grease the birra was very flavorless and it had an outrageous amount of cheese that overpowered the birra and could barley taste it in bites and there was an excessive amount of grease that tasted as if it had been used for a long time it had that rancid tooth plaque taste to it. Will definitely not be returning to eat here I definitely recommend going next door to birra el compita black truck"
"So Amazing I Love this place!! I've been to this taco truck well over 30 times and so far never had any meat that was chewy or crunchy like it was old or overcooked."
