"Five stars! And they didn't even have the shoe I wanted. Let me explain... I bought a pair of oxblood 1461's in 1993 from a store in Manchester England. After 30 years of use, I recently walked a hole through the toe in the leather and not the sole. I know. Unbelievably reliable shoe. Needless to say, I wanted another pair and went to the local shop. Told my story to Sydney (hopefully I spelled it right) who immediately explained the Made in England vs. other manufacturer locations, quality etc. Set about to find my replacements, and...they didn't have them. Instead of saying "oh well, sorry" and heading off to another customer on what was a very busy night with lots of people wanting help, she went to find another 1461 in my size to try on and be sure the fit was right. Then Sydney helped me determine how to find the right shoe online and offered extras to make my new shoes less painful during the break in period. (Those of you who wear Docs know what I am talking about!) I was so impressed by the customer service I went and told the managers how awesome Sydney was. Docs are awesome and so is the staff and service at this location. Go buy from them! They deserve your business."

"Everyone at this store was amazing! I ordered boots online for myself (7W and received 14M) and my daughter (hers were a size too small - our mistake) and I called the store to ask if they could exchange them. The guy explained on the phone that if I did the exchange in the store (no store refunds for online orders in store), then absolutely no more exchanges or refunds could be done either in store or online. A few days later we went into the store and the girls in there were so patient with us. They again explained the no more refunds or exchanges if done at the store level and can only exchange for exact same thing in different size. So I exchanged mine and my daughter realized hers just weren't going to work. So we decided to get her a new pair at the store and mail the ones we bought online back for a refund. The girls were very busy and so patient and helped her get a different pair, exchange my size, and get us out of there in a short amount of time. They were great! Also, we UPS'd her original pair back and got the refund VERY quickly."

"Great selection of boots and shoes. The store feels smaller in size than Santa Monica one but it is well organized. Shoes on displays grab your attention. We are glad that our favorite boot store is opened in OC. Surely we will drop big money here"
