"Don’t know how good or bad of a job these people do but from what I gathered over the phone, they’re crooks. He can not give a price estimate at all for a repair on a worn heel. Wants to see the footwear first a.k.a. “Come in, so I can figure out by how you’re dressed how much I will charge you.” Most shoe repair shops have an estimate for low ball park to high ball park or how much something would cost. Whenever, no such estimate exists in a business, it’s a massive red flag. The goal is to have you drag your butt all the way from a remote place, spending money on gas, or uber, or even bus/train fair, having you waste a ton of your own time just to come in. So, you’re committed enough to have this work done, only for them to quote you “it will cost you $300” for a minor repair of your $50 shoes. Do you, at that point turn around and go home knowing how much of your time and money you wasted? Or do you say “ok, fine” and let them do it? They are banking on you to say “ok, fine”. It’s a proven crook strategy that tends to work out for them real well financially. What a joke, though, for the clients! I’m not dumb enough to fall for their scheme. The guy on the phone was rude, unprofessional, and refused to give any estimates. Then, he hung up. Why? Because I figured out their crookery and he didn’t like that. Lol! I suggest that more potential clients make a phone call before they entrap themselves into massively overpaying for a shoe repair."

"I took my $1k Tom Ford shoes here to get colored and now they are 4 different colors. Initially, I took my shoes to get colored and a week after the leather looked cracked and snake-like. I took them back and Angelo said it was due to the perspiration of my feet, which makes no sense since the shoe leather started cracking just a week after being colored. He was trying to find any excuse to blame everything else and not take accountability. He proceeded to talk to me in a very condescending manner and said to take in what he said and after I thought about it he would call me back. I came back to pick up the shoes today after getting “fixed” and shoes are different colors and shades. Their solution was to take out all the color they did. So I basically paid to get my shoes worse than the original condition. They didn't give me my money back and they took zero accountability. I will not be coming back and upset that they were careless with shoes I had spent so much money on. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone, it’s a horrible experience!"
