"Derek is the man! He is the best at repairing and shining shoes in the entire San Fernando valley"
"shoe lab always does a good job on cleaning my luxury sneakers and repairing my belts or wallet, when i need some tune up or any repairs, they been around for over 30 years, i like that they have 2 places in the same street in case i am in the mall i stop by in the new location , in case i am in the village i drop off my stuff as well. best place in town."
"I had to come 4 times for a lousy job. They try to fix my boots and each time the shoe was looking worse!!!!! They maybe can do easy fix and charge a lot of money but if you have more complex shoes then I suggest getting a professional shoe repair place .. they charged more than to get a new shoe please check the price ."
"Had a pair of Calvin Klein that sole blow out with minimal wear. These guys replaced them with some non slip soles and turned them into my favorite work shoes. Super impressed they got a custom sole with the label on it without even me knowing was such a awesome surprise I highly recommend these guys for show repair"
"I picked up 3 pairs of shoes today that I put in for repair and cost me $540. Two of them came out beautifully but the third pair is a completely different story. Sadly, the repair person didn’t follow the design line of the shoe and it came back looking worse than before. The sole edge was rounded, white paint was sloppily applied…etc. A very expensive shoe from Dries Van Noten now looks like I bought it Steve Madden. I’m so so so sad. When I pointed out the mistakes instead of admitting fault, the owner argued with me and tried to gaslight away his errors. He gave me a $50 refund but when repairs were $180 per shoe I feel like he should have refunded more. I would have given 4 stars if it wasn’t for the way he got defensive and argumentative. I would have given only 1 star if the other two shoes didn’t come back looking nice. Moral of the story: give them only simple repairs and be prepared that the owner won’t listen if you feel he did something wrong."
