"This is my first time here and i have to say it was really delicious. I got the asada fries and a horchata. Both great. They really pack it with the fries and lots of flavor. The asada was cooked great and seasoned. The horchata was great and really creamy. I was pumping gas and i saw it because its in the chevron parking lot. The employees were super nice. You must try!!!"

I grew up in San Diego eating Tj tacos very often, this taco truck is the closest thing to the real deal. I was impressed the most with the carne asada tacos, very spicy, very good. Made fresh to order! Update: Pena's now has a new truck! The menu has also been expanded some and now includes birria. I tried the quesabirria tacos and not that I had any doubts going in, but they were the best quesabirria tacos I've had. Crunchy outside, tender beef and gooey cheese inside and an excellent consome! They checked all the boxes!"
