"I don’t know what happened to this place, it used to be great but it went downhill. I was charged almost $40 for a fade and it wasn’t even good cause it was not layered properly. I saw a guy getting charged $50 bucks for a taper. I don’t know if each barber charges different or something but it was insane. Total scam."
"Loud music, loud kids making a mess, loud employees shouting over the music to communicate. Whatever quality work they do is not worth the stressful setting. There’s half a dozen shops within a one block radius. There’s nothing unique about this place to warrant wanting to put up with any of the flaws."
"I’ve been coming to Romero’s Barbershop for six years now and I will say this is by far one of the best barbershops in Los Angeles. I’m very picky with barbers and I’m quick to judge a fade. Geo the barber does GREAT work. I have complete confidence in his ability to give a quality haircut along with a beard lineup. They work with a appointments which is super convenient for someone with a busy schedule. I’ve recommend this place to several family and friends and all were satisfied."
"My bf has been coming here for years now, it’s the best shop in east Los Angeles. They expanded their shop, so now it’s a barbershop and beauty salon. All the workers their are nice and know what their doing. It’s a family owned business so that’s a plus. The shop is always clean and they have a customer restroom so that’s a nice touch. My bf cuts it with the cute guy name geo, he’s the best of the best!! My bf goes in looking like a 2 and comes out looking like a 10:) thanks a lot and keep up the good work!!"
